Hey, bad news. I just found out that my idea has already been done. Damn! I could have made a lot of money. As it turns out this has been going on for a while now. Some company named Kona has been paying BMX riders to ride their heavy ass bikes in videos and even contests. Contests that look like BMX contests, but you're only allowed to ride these big clumsy bikes in them. Apparently some suckers are actually fooled into buying these bikes!

Yeah! I think its super funny and entertaining when I see people riding "mountain bikes" at my trails. Its like watching a clown on a miniature bike at the circus... except the opposite... and they're always casing and landing rear wheel first, ha ha ha! Oh man, its so fun to watch. I am all for it!

Why? Do you sell mountain bike parts or something? I do. Hey! Thats a good idea! Lets pay kids to do BMX riding on mountain bikes. Then we can photograph them and put them in magazines and videos and trick other kids into buying these heavy, flexy, fragile, overpriced, 26" wheeled contraptions! Kids all over the world will be trying to ride BMX on these "mountain bikes" but they will be so much harder to do tricks on and so big and cramped that they are constantly buying new parts to solve the problems they are having with broken parts and horrible style. Oh yeah, and of course we know that doing tricks and riding bikes on jumps IS BMX no matter what size wheels you have, but we can tell the kids that this is something different an new, not BMX. That way the "mountain bike" kids will think they are part of some special club and they wont realize that they could buy a bike for 1/3 the cost that lasts 10 times longer and allows them to do the tricks and jumps they are trying to do way easier. Good idea!

This bike is practically new and would retail for over $2200. I'm pretty firm on $1500.

Hey "bender" that sucks about your dad but what does getting hit by a car have to do with an amazing photograph of a tailwhip down 15 stairs? Yeah, riding in traffic is super dangerous. For some people, WALKING down 15 stairs is dangerous. Should we all wear helmets when we walk down stairs? Babies can't even walk at all. I have never seen a baby with a helmet on learning to walk. Some people seem to think that being on a bike is some super dangerous thing, and it can be, just like running down a flight of stairs to catch a train can. It all depends on how experienced you are and how focused you are on what you are doing. For some people, riding a bike is like walking. Obviously, for Aaron Ross, riding a bike is like breathing!

In the video it looked like he would have pulled it if his rebound dampening hadn't blown out and sent him OTB.

Yeah, I agree. You can go fast and jump far on cruisers but you just cant click power moves, like turndowns and x-ups on them.

Woah!! NERD ALERT!! Well, I guess posting a reply to retarded comments is pretty nerdy on my part, but partyboy1122 and bigitspizzec are so lame I couldnt resist. partyboy, (duh) what you are mistakenly refering to is an un-turndown. If that is what Dex were doing, his legs would be straight and the bike would be vertical, which it is not. The way a trick looks depends on the style of the rider and what terrain is being ridden. In this case a step-up jump in order to safely learn a trick. LEARN! Did you read the description?

bigitspizzec, (doubleduh) yeah an "actual freerider". you mean the "pros" you look up to who do those sloppy tables-to-ballride off ladders? Yeah, that looks like fun, you go buy some more of that overpriced crap they're selling you and I'll watch them ride while I try not to vomit.
